Special Notice - Consular Services not provided at U.S. Embassy Juba
The United States Embassy in Juba does not provide routine American Citizen services at this time. The embassy can assist American citizens in cases of life or death emergencies only. Please direct all inquires for U.S. visas or routine American Citizen services, including notarials, passport renewals, additional visa pages, and consular reports of birth abroad, to the U.S. Embassies in Khartoum, Nairobi, or Kampala.

U.S. citizens who require emergency assistance may call the U.S. Embassy in Juba during business hours at +211-912-10-5107 or email ACSJuba@state.gov.
In the event of a life or death emergency involving a U.S. citizen after
business hours or on holidays, please contact the embassy duty officer at +211-912-15-3939 (Zain) or +256-477-459-820 (GEMTEL).
To Register with the Embassy
U.S. citizens living or traveling in South Sudan should register their presence in South Sudan through the Department of State's on-line travel registration website. Registration helps the embassy contact you in an emergency and you will be included on the embassy's warden email list.
